Ryder and I have
had an amazing ride and continue to have fun working and learning together.
Ryder is the product of careful, selective breeding to retain the essence of the breed that drew me in so many years ago. He is a beautiful Red Sesame Shiba, one of just a handful of correctly marked Sesame’s being shown in the breed.
Ryder’s Accomplishments:
- AKC Grand Championship
- Best in Specialty Show May 2011- Shiba Inu Fanciers of Northern California
- Multiple Group Placements - including a Group 1
- Rally Novice & Beginner Novice titles
- National Assoc. of Canine Scent Work NW1 title (first Shiba Inu to earn the title)
- National Assoc. Of Canine Scent Work NW2 title
- United Kennel Club Champion - in one weekend at his first UKC shows Ryder earned his UKC Championship and UKC Rally 1 title.
- Taking BOB 4 out of 6 shows
- Group 1 in 2 shows, Group 2 in one
- Group 1 in the special "Total Dog" competition
- RATN - Barn Hunt Novice Title
- ITD - Intermediate Trick Dog
Ryder is now retired from the show ring and is continuing to train and compete for
his working titles.
